This site shows a map of San Diego and lets you see apartments on the map. It has tons of listings. You can also see restaurants or laundry that are near apartments. This was very helpful for me because I don't have a car.

M or F UCSD grad student roommate wanted for move in the weekend of June 6 in a 2 BR 1 BA apartment at North Mesa. MB2-632 exam The contract from UCSD will be a two-year fixed term lease. I will probably be finishing up in mid-March at which point you can find someone or have someone assigned to move in with you. Your lease is guaranteed for two years.
I am looking for someone who is very clean (ie. extremely clean if you are a dude), discrete, and considerate. 000-061 exam Drop me a line if you are interested.
The rent (at least current per the UCSD website) is 403.50/month, with electricity and internet it comes out to around 440-450/month. Parking spots are provided, however you will need a parking pass if you drive 640-822 exam to campus.

The apartment has high ceilings and is on the top floor (no noisy people above your head). Large and spacious, it has a balcony and a large kitchen, and its own washer + dryer. Filled with bookshelves and couches, a bench press and a tv.
Apartment contains one other person, a 420 friendly post-doc with his own room and bathroom. Post-doc is quiet, super stress free, rarely uses the kitchen and living room, and never leaves a mess. You are basically getting the right to use the living room full time.
The Master Bedroom overlooks the pool. Even with the windows open, the room is very quiet. There is a large closet, and the bathroom is directly attatched to the back of the room.
There is a large full bed in the room, if the renter wishes to purchase it from the previous tenant, or it will be sold. The apartment already has two couches and a free desk. If the new renter wishes to bring in their own stuff, arrangements can be made.
You get one parking spot in the closed garage, conveniently located. The bus stop to UCSD is also very close.
Costa Verde has a large gym for residents a 2 minute walk away. Costa Verde does not allow pets. Smoking isn't preferable inside the apartment, but is acceptable on the balcony.
Renter is expected to sign a joint lease with Post-Doc, for 6 or 12 months, to be decided when you move in. Total rent for the apartment has been about 1810 on a 6 month lease. Renter should not have bad credit, and will submit to Costa Verde's application process.
